Terms of Service

  1. Introduction and Scope

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between Tongdilou (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and the customer (“you” or “Client”) regarding the online booking of on-site drain unblocking and related maintenance services across our European service regions. By accessing our website at www.tongdilou.com and booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Service Booking and Deposit Model

Our website facilitates appointment scheduling for on-site services. To secure an on-site visit and reserve a slot, customers are required to pay an initial booking deposit online via our integrated payment processing provider. The remaining balance for the service is settled in accordance with the specific terms communicated upon service completion or as agreed in writing. All bookings are subject to availability and formal confirmation.

  1. Pricing and Quotations

All prices displayed on www.tongdilou.com are denominated in Euros (EUR) .Due to the variable nature of on-site maintenance work, initial online quotes or base booking fees cover standard scheduling and inspection; additional service fees may apply depending on on-site conditions, which will be communicated and agreed upon prior to commencing work.

  1. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Statutory Withdrawal Rights

In compliance with European consumer rights directives and Dutch civil law, consumers are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days from the date of booking contracts for services, provided that the service has not been fully performed. If you request the performance of services to begin during the statutory withdrawal period, you acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully executed. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made outside the statutory window or less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment may be subject to administrative charges deducted from the initial booking deposit.

  1. Customer Obligations and Access

The Client shall ensure safe and unobstructed access to the premises and the affected plumbing fixtures at the scheduled appointment time. The Client is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the nature of the service requirement. We reserve the right to withhold or suspend service delivery if on-site conditions present health, safety, or legal hazards, or if access is denied.

  1. Liability and Warranties

We provide our on-site services with professional diligence and care in accordance with applicable industry standards. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so under Dutch or European Union law. Our liability for direct damages arising from the performance of our services shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability of the website or absolute error-free execution of third-party electronic networks.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any contractual or non-contractual disputes arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without giving effect to any choice of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of the Netherlands, subject to mandatory European consumer protection laws affording protection in the consumer’s country of residence.
